I love Mia's awesome oriental features. Very sunken cheek bones and single lidded eyes. Many girls have no idea and love huge doe eyes. But in my opinion, these features photograph very well and I would love to have eyes like these if I could!

In the fashion sense, we also call this 'strong' or 'edgy'.

My very first time attending a wedding on a Chinese Junk Boat!! She was referred by a mutual friend who is also her wedding photographer. When she asked if it would be okay for me to follow her up the boat to do her hair and makeup, I was like "WHAT?" followed by "OF COURSE! MY PLEASURE!" :D

I was excited and I totally wore my new modern cheongsam, (which I never got the occasion to wear till now) to fit the whole mood.

To end it all, I had an extremely enjoyable time on a junk boat to share in Brian and Serene's joyous celebrations!

Hello 2013: Better Pictures

HELLO 2013!

In the new year what has changed? Well I have definitely changed!
Prettier, bigger boobs (nah im kidding. if only....) hahahhahaha........

But work wise? Definitely better! So thank god, the pictures posted here will definitely be better! No more strange grainy nonsense. :D

Once in awhile I will STILL write random stuff but do just enjoy the pictures and "call me maybe" if you do happen to need my services for hair and makeup!!! Hahahah

A New Alcoholic Discovery

I am normally not an alcohol fan as alcohol makes me tipsy very easily and somewhat switches on my "Laughing Button"

When that laughing button is switched on, I would say: "Im Unstoppable"

Hysterical Laughter is a very high possibility.

And of course, I dislike the taste of alcohol too. Except for selected beers and wines.

So, when I discovered the yumminess of Korean rice wine, I fell in love with it. IMMEDIATELY!!!

It is so easy to drink, tastes like ricey malt and has many interesting flavours! It also reminds me of yoghurt as it has a slight sour tang to it.

So one day, my friend and I went to this korean place where they had an opening promotion for their rice wines at: $10 a bottle (750ml) and we drank ourselves silly.

Or rather, I drank myself silly. Cos it just tasted soooo GOOD

Until.........................

I puked the raspberry flavour yoghurt rice wine and the korean pancake out. -.-

WOOHOOO what a waste...

So I was raving to my friend and she recommended me a brand sold at NTUC called: Makkoli

The original name for the Korean traditional Rice wine is called Makgeolli
Somewhat the same.

She even mentioned that it has health benefits??!!

I tried to find it in normal NTUCs but I couldnt until I went to the Scotts NTUC special and saw them!!!

The label wrote 'Korean rice beer'

It IS SUPPOSED TO BE WINE. Hmmmmmm
I wasn't sure if it were the ones I love but I got 2 bottles anyway as it's soooo hard to get them.

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were!!! Im sooo going to start stocking them up!!!

BECAUSE THIS SHIT INDEED DOES HAVE HEALTH BENEFITS!!!!!

The highlights: It helps in digestion and SLOWS DOWN AGING

Not forgetting that it's Cheap too, just $5.50 a bottle

Oh.My.God

Awesome-ness!

Now Life has a whole N.E.W meaning to live! (At least for me)

Imagine how much we can save on botox and surgical procedures :)

How people will always remark, " Wow you so TOTALLY Don't look your age! You look GREAT" :)

ABOUT ME

I work with a team of fellow artists sometimes, which allows us to better ourselves and also work as a group to deliver the best services to you all out there.

Previously graduated with a Diploma in Optometry, I realized that being an optometrist is not what I would be happy working in for the long term. So I decided to pursue the unknown in the artistic industry, which is what I've always been fascinated in since young.

I figured: You only live once, why waste it?

So, after graduating with a hair diploma course from Kimage, I realized styling is what I love most and decided to focus more on getting experience in this sector which unfortunately was not taught in-depth during my time in hair school.

I strongly think that hair should also really go with makeup for a lady to look ‘complete' and that beauty IS the whole package!!

So, I started to read up on lots of information on makeup and went hands-on on my own face and whoever I can get for practice!

Armed with self-taught makeup skills, a hair diploma, and MOST importantly a very determined and passionate heart, I took a huge leap of faith out into a new career path to get more involved in the industry.

I proudly say my forte is my versatility in my style for (with an added speciality on asian faces) and is often engaged for brides styling, fashion and commercial shoots/print ads, corporate functions and beauty workshops, personal makeovers and collaboration with fashion designers, photographers and videographers. (Pretty much anything you can think of)

Being able to do what I love and good at, often keeps me in an uplifted, jovial and cheeky demeanor, making people feel at ease around me very easily.

Currently striving to better my skills with experience and looking to expand my expertise in related hair and makeup projects.

I am proud to declare that I am Cozycot’s 100 most inspiring women for two consecutive years 2011/2012 and want to thank all the people who have supported me so far!
