i.e Tjin and sister Min.

Some background info:
Tjin: If you are not already aware of Singapore Fashion Week, She is the woman behind this great event. To add to that, she is an Entrepreneur, Mum, Sister, Daughter, Wife. The brain behind multiple businesses, she is one successful modern woman.

Min: Violin Prodigy from A VERY YOUNG AGE. The Maestro of Violin. Program Director of Wolfgang Violin Studio.

The sisters are going to be featured as women of substance in Mikimoto's Global Pearl book.

Really thankful for the chance to have 3 'major brands' with me. (I think the sisters are a brand of their own)

So, Joanna, she is this bubbly, lively, sweet young thing.

These are the two most genuine people I've met and known.
I love them for their cheerful, candid personalities!

Sometimes I am that thankful for the chance to meet awesome people.
This makes life a whole lot sweeter.

So, in this series of pictures that I took, Carrie mentioned she wanted to look like Kate Moss + Bed hair.
OK!.............And so the joke became that she should be 'Kate Loss' instead. HAhahahah

Bong Qiu Qiu- Expressions Wellness Ambassador

Recently I had the extreme honours of doing the hair and makeup for Hong Qiuting, aka Bong QiuQiu. (As you all know her as)

She is one of the very popular social media influencers or blogger.
So naturally I was very nervous about the job and of course the client being Expressions?!

Thankfully, Qiu Qiu was awesome. She was very natural and friendly and chatty too! (Not a diva at all, which initially I was very afraid of just cause she's so popular and all......)
To add to that, the people from Expressions are nice too. (Even founder Mrs Chew was there.)

Well here are the behind the scenes pictures of the gorgeous mama Qiu Qiu. We did 3 main looks in total.
And an added bonus to make my day a really great one:

SHE LOVED MY MAKEUP!!!!!! Like really sincerely told me that I made her look so good.

Time is really zooming. (I feel O.L.D) So I always try to live in the now so I do not get reminded of how time is cruelly adding lines on my face!

Anyways, on a brighter note, in no time it'll be the new year soon and now's the time again to shop ladies!
Those who are unmarried (hooray!), let's be excited about the money you are gonna get in those shiny red packets of yours.

Whereas for me? I have my Italy trip to look forward to AND even though I AM ABSENT I have to prepare those shiny red packets for the unmarried ones.... Grrr.

ABOUT ME

I work with a team of fellow artists sometimes, which allows us to better ourselves and also work as a group to deliver the best services to you all out there.

Previously graduated with a Diploma in Optometry, I realized that being an optometrist is not what I would be happy working in for the long term. So I decided to pursue the unknown in the artistic industry, which is what I've always been fascinated in since young.

I figured: You only live once, why waste it?

So, after graduating with a hair diploma course from Kimage, I realized styling is what I love most and decided to focus more on getting experience in this sector which unfortunately was not taught in-depth during my time in hair school.

I strongly think that hair should also really go with makeup for a lady to look ‘complete' and that beauty IS the whole package!!

So, I started to read up on lots of information on makeup and went hands-on on my own face and whoever I can get for practice!

Armed with self-taught makeup skills, a hair diploma, and MOST importantly a very determined and passionate heart, I took a huge leap of faith out into a new career path to get more involved in the industry.

I proudly say my forte is my versatility in my style for (with an added speciality on asian faces) and is often engaged for brides styling, fashion and commercial shoots/print ads, corporate functions and beauty workshops, personal makeovers and collaboration with fashion designers, photographers and videographers. (Pretty much anything you can think of)

Being able to do what I love and good at, often keeps me in an uplifted, jovial and cheeky demeanor, making people feel at ease around me very easily.

Currently striving to better my skills with experience and looking to expand my expertise in related hair and makeup projects.

I am proud to declare that I am Cozycot’s 100 most inspiring women for two consecutive years 2011/2012 and want to thank all the people who have supported me so far!
