For marking a huge milestone in their business after the collaboration with Haute Couture designer, Julien Fornie!
Feel so happy for them and of course I got my eye on some of the pieces that was launched at the Fide Fashion Week at Marina Bay Sands. :)
When the news was announced that we get entry into the show, I was super excited. I was thinking: Finally I get to be in the midst of the buzz instead of my usual backstage for work.
Although as Love, Bonito's sort of "In-house" hair and makeup artist, I didn't get to doll up the runway models.
But fortunately still, I was called by Rachel to help with her hair and makeup for the event!!
So priviledged to have this opportunity!

I absolutely loved the vibes (especially the confetti) of the whole show despite having to queue and wait for over 1hr in my sky high platform heels!!

Oh my! MY! I have been neglecting my blog!! Thought I ll consolidate stuff and it'll be easy but instead it gets procrastinated....
Recently been involved with events!! So fun! I love being busy! Im a shopaholic and a workaholic officially! Enjoy while it lasts......
Puma with 'Da Mouth' event!

Event was held in the old building of MOS. Free flow booze! I had chicken rice (super delicious) and a bottle of Heineken. Shiokis the only word to describe.

On that day, I went a little crazy and opted for a no eyebrows look. Realised I shouldn't smile so much and should act cool and aloof for pictures. I think it'll look much better. I looked a tad whacky with goofy grin on my face.... ~_-ll
Fashion show for T.M Lewin, boutique specialising in shirts and work wear. Mainly mens' I guess..
It was held at Resorts World Sentosa! I thought for a minute I ll get the chance to explore the attractions inside resort world. But in the end, there was't enough time to do so.
The closest I ever got to anything interesting was the entrance to the casino! Bling Bling! CHing! Ching!
I LOVE GAMBLING! I haven got the chance to get into the casino cause I don't want to pay $100! Unless maybe I can win it back? But no guarantee right? Cause its GAMBLING!
Me and partner Joey were just supposed to do the hair for the models. They had sponsors from Bobbi Brown for makeup.
There were more male models than females but no handsome ones! Borringgg.... No eye candy for the night.

After we did all the models, we sneaked out for some wine and food. There was catering out in the events hall. Our catered dinner of briyani wasn't satisfying enough.
Next assignment was for Ngee ann song composing club's annual concert! Apparently it's the school's ECA. COOL!

Weather was especially hot that day and I think I stunk of sweat! ewww!!!! Totally unglam! Decided I should bring out a mini fan nxt time. Battery operated kind! + bottle of perfume!
End of day's dinner was steak at Botak Jones. Utter utter bliss......... lost energy needs to be replenished with succulent meat....

Charity event (for the Haiti victims) for some various blogshops. Me and 2 others did hairstyling for all the models.

I have just completed an event assignment sponsored by champagne brand GH Mumm! I have never heard of that brand until now! Probably because Im not a drinker of champagne...
It was one hell of a crazy event where there were 14 pax to be dolled up in the retro 1950s theme!! I had to finish all their hair in 3hrs and a half, including my partner, Siti, who is doing the makeup!
It was held at the National Museum of Singapore. Very chic and classy!
However at the end of it all, it was all worth it cause of the great sense of satisfaction and the chance to bask in the event's classy atmosphere. :)
And of cause, worth it with hot a looking model like this:

This is a party for socialites. For what purpose? I'm not sure. People like David Gan, Ashley Isham, Patricia Mok turned up! What's even better was that, just one wall over, Lady Gaga's concert was ongoing at a feverish pitch!!!
I was actually enjoying myself although I was working like crazy. We didn't have time to go for dinner at all!!! Thank God I didn't faint halfway... I only had a bowl of instant noodles and a packet of milo in my stomach all the way till 11 plus pm!!
Keeping fingers crossed for more of such event assignments to come!!
