My Awesome Step over into 2012

I admit. Im a procrastinator For I am only Human. And A very Flawed one indeed.

Thus 'The' New Year Resolution of 2012. To Start My Blog entry With :
How I Transited over to 2012 With a Bang.

~~~Virgin Surf Trip In Cherating Malaysia with a bunch of piggy doggy friends! as the chinese saying goes:

It was the Most Awesome New year ever!!! Very likely cos its not spent in Singapore doing sticky yucky boring countdowns..

Anyway Surfing is highly recommended for the mind, body and soul.

Mind being ---Peace and tranquility just sitting on your surf board, staring out to sea and watching the waves with no fear of drowning cos the board floats.
Secondly, water level is just up to waist level!

Body being---You get a great tan albeit abit too wrinkled and shrivelly....

Soul being--- Smack in the face of nature. Away from the mundane, the rat race and the nonsensical.

Off WE go in the wee hours of the morning for the drive up to Cherating! Yahoooo!!

I was caught on candid camera snoozing. Im only thankful my mouth was closed and I wasn't drooling. Thanks to Mini for sure!

I was trying to prove that Fire is not a cm taller than 169cm.... heh heh heh

 The Beach!!

 We were really really nervous for our surf adventure. We aren't good swimmers. AT ALL

Adding on to the already nervous tension. I have no idea what he was trying to do at that time. hahhah

We were supposed to be watching a safety video on surfing.

As you can see, I look really really nervous.

Fire got soo Good He managed to surf 3 boards at one go. *kowtow*

That's me! :D I managed to actually surf! Im on cloud 9

 How we were actually taught to surf is that, the instructor first told us to try out the board on the sand to determine which stance we will be using i.e right /left foot in front. Goofy vs Natural stance.

And off we go dragging our boards like canines into the water! Macho comes with us.

Further and further we go and then we were taught how to watch the waves.
So when the right one is coming along, WE jump onto our boards quickly and paddle towards shore as fast we can. Macho then helps us along by giving us a strong push, so when the wave breaks and crashes against our boards, there is a force great enough for us to stand up and balance and surf the wave!!!

WE did this for 4 hours straight.
Freaking great experience. I was dying from the cramps in my muscles. But Still I clung on, to my board.
At the end of it all, I got horrible abrasions on my elbows, knees and toes.
*Plus, I got whacked on the chin by the board on the 2nd day of surfing. It made me see double + stars. Cut inner cheek and swollen chin. WTH.

Surrealism

Fire, being cheesy, stuffed a pack of clothes into his suit cause our hands were all busy carrying our boards.

So, to entertain our sick appetite for ugly pictures, he gamely posed this for us.

It was hilarious!!!

Fire is very upset the board is weighing 'his already not so impressive' height down.

The snacks and booze we brought. Thanks to the thief like escapade of removing them from Fire's dad's humble abode....... (the booze ---> the Macallen + 2 bottles of Red wine)

We stopped him by flailing our arms desperately from the open car window....

We are happy with our Icees :D

At this moment, we were discussing something really serious here. Trying to enlighten Fire how tampons work. And If The tampon will work for me when I go in the water to surf?!!! Hell!!!

After we have come to a conclusion and I was satisfied and convinced, We say cheese for the camera.

And so, More cheesy nonsense from Mini.

I just don't understand why they like to take pics of people snoozing....



By this time, we were mostly high & tipsy with the exception of Mini. Cause he is a damn good drinker. Poor him. We played silly games that got us roaring with lots of crazy laughter. Laughter is the best medicine. WEll, at least for me.

FYI, Fire happens to be the weakest link in the night's games. Hilarious to the max. And have you tried to play charades with a very tipsy person ??? LOL

You gotta try it to love it!

Besides, we loved the whole experience so much that we are probably going to organise another trip !!! Yippee!!!

You know how some restless souls come up with totally Random topics and they anyhow tag people to do Totally RAndom boring stuff to themselves?

Well I've been Tagged! And I accidentally stumbled upon this and I thought I'll post some interesting facts about me.. HAHA

Here goes:

1. I'm bored, so im doing this out of boredom.

2. I do not smoke or drink contrary to your beliefs....

3. I love gambling like Mahjong! yay! i shall start forming a khaki group soon and recruit new players...

4. Believes that one always have choices in life! U r wat u decide to be most of the time. :). yea a bit philosophical but i can write wateva stuff i want here no? lol... the minority is fate.

5. Be amazed! I can read music bean sprouty notes (tho a bit rusty already) and paint too! I know i dun look like the sort. but hell yea!

6. i love noodles. china noodles, italian noodles, burmese noodles, thai noodles, yummy noodles!

7. everyone thinks i ll be a lousy driver and a road hazard. im bad at directions. but i ll show ya......look out for the next Pink car! POR POR!! *car horn* heehee

8. I love writing in shorthand and short forms. C how lazy i can b? once in a while, i can b a pretty darn good writer if my mood fits....

9. am gd at multitasking!

10. Loves oreo flavoured stuffs e.g oreo cheesecake, oreo shake, oreo mcflurry, but not the oreo cookie itself. Yum! gonna get Mcflurry latr!

11. Loves dolling myself up. i dream to be a socialite.

12. has big crooked and yet at the same time cute TEETH

Healthy & Fun Living= DANCING!

Howdy!!

Today I am going to share a fun activity to do to keep in shape and healthy! Now that's what I call killing 2 birds with one stone... (okok sorry. no animal casualties please....)

THAT activity is : DANCING!

Come, here are some fast facts on dancing

IT helps to:
* Tone your muscles ( I have muscles on my arms but I think this is contributed by lugging around my crazy big bag for work)
* Improve your flexibility (yes I think I React faster now )
* Make your heart stronger
* Make your lungs work better.
You can burn up to 200 calories in just 10 minutes for moderate rate of dancing!!

Some key things to keep in mind, do wear proper shoes and attire easy for stretching during dance.
Make sure you are properly warmed up before you start jiggling around so as not to tear any tendons/muscles! (Don't worry this is not prone to happen on an often basis. But it is a possibility and we want to make sure we enjoy our dance ya?)

My Painting My Love My Life

Inspired by a sketch I saw on my holiday in USA.
Acrylic paint on canvas.

I painted this for my beloved. So that he will always remember me while discovering his Life's journey.

I named this: Kazzie's Happy Place.

The bright colours made me feel happy and I thought: this is the closest thing I know to give happiness to him.

His dream is to have a restaurant of his own, because he is a chef by profession.
And there will be happy porters, waiters and waitresses just like in the painting.

In a book I'm reading right now.

"You have to take risks. We will only understand the miracle of life when we allow the unexpected to happen.

New Updates

Oh my God!

It has been Eons since I last blogged!

Life goes on. Fell out of love, fell in love, fell out again. Now L-O-V-E It needs to fail. When it comes back, it is destined and will be stronger than before!!!

Im banking on it coming back STRONGER! BIGGER! BETTA.

Well............... updates:

1) I finally got my long time dream come true! I flew to phuket for a pre-wedding shoot!
(Oei, you may only thing it's a small deal, considering it's only to phuket. But it is a big deal for me ok! ) - holidaying and work all in one! :)

I would cross my fingers and pray to go to further places. like PAris? London?? MILAN?????


2) recently got featured in a Chinese lifestyle magazine called 生活
Im supposed to show tips on the many ways to wear a shawl... Being a model is sooo hard!

3) starting up a concept lifestyle wedding photography company with friends!

I hope its going to be epic BECAUSE it is totally different from all the albums you have seen so far! Stay tuned.......

Im Dolly-licious!!! -Perks when you dress up

Ah hell!! I did not expect myself to appear in the papers with a relatively big full shot of myself!

Lifestyle on Sunday 22nd August 2010.

I probably would have missed it because I don't read the papers often.
But well................. Maybe Not cause I have the habit of browsing the headlines on all the cover pages to check for interesting news worth reading. So, it happened that I was also conveniently on the front page of lifestyle showing a smaller picture of me.

Although it wasnt a feature story of me, I still was quite pleased to see my face on the papers. Any publicity is probably good publicity right?????

Anyway, the story was on clubs having new gimmicks for people who dress up good to have more rewards in terms of free drinks on Wednesdays, Ladies' night.

I got the Max of 5 drink coupons from Shanghai Dolly in Clarke Quay!

There's this huge guy "mascot" in Shanghai Dolly, dressed in cheongsam (practically in drag) holding up the tags: "Im Dolly-licious" (which I got) & "More effort please!" (which some others got)
